Patrick Mahomes has won one Super Bowl in his career. Mahomes won the Super Bowl in the 2019 season as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes has lost one Super Bowl as well, this loss occurred in the 2020 season at the hands of Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Regular Season
The Chiefs started the 2019 NFL season well with four straight wins and Patrick Mahomes being named player of the month for September.
Mahomes had a slight injury during the regular season and was forced to miss two full games.
Lucky he was able to return from his injury ahead of schedule and lead the chiefs to a twelve and four regular-season record.
This got the Chiefs the first seed in the AFC and earned them a bye for the wild card round of the playoffs.
Playoffs
In the divisional round, Mahomes and the Chiefs faced off against the Houston Texans. Houston started the game incredibly well taking a 21-0 lead of the chiefs.
The Chiefs responded by going on a 51-7 scoring run ultimately winning the game 51-31.
In the NFC championship, the Chiefs faced off against the Tennesse Titans led by Ryan Tannehill. Mahomes and the Chiefs were down early facing a 17-7 deficit in the second quarter.
Ultimately the chiefs came back to win the game 35-24 booking Mahomes’ first trip to the Superbowl.
Super Bowl LIV
In his first Super Bowl appearance, Mahomes and the Chiefs played against the San Fransisco 49ers. The 49ers had gone 13-3 throughout the regular season while the Chiefs had gone 12-4.
Entering the game the Chiefs were one and a half point favourites.
The game started out fairly even with the score being tied 10-10 at the end of the second quarter.
In the third quarter, the 49ers began to pull away. After taking a ten-point lead it looked as if the 49ers were going to win the game.
Down ten points with only eight minutes and fifty-three seconds remaining the Chiefs led a comeback. Two long touchdown drives ended with Mahomes passing TDs as the Chiefs went on to score twenty-one unanswered points in the fourth quarter.
The final score was 31-20 earning the Chiefs their first title in fifty years and Mahomes the first of his career.

2020 Season Super Bowl Appearance
Though Mahomes only won one Superbowl he was close to winning another. In the 2020 season, the Kansas City Chiefs responded with another incredible year.
Throughout the regular season, the Chiefs went 14-2 easily winning the AFC first seed and earning themselves a bye for the first round of the playoffs.
In the divisional round, the chiefs took on the Cleveland Browns. During the game, Patrick Mahomes went down with a concussion and was out for the remainder of the game.
The Chiefs held on to win the game 22-17. By the time the AFC championship game was happening Mahomes had already cleared concussion protocol.
Kansas City played against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC championship and beat them handily. The final score was 38-24 booking the Chief’s second trip to the Super Bowl in as many years.
Super Bowl LV
In Super Bowl LV Mahomes was matched up against the greatest quarterback of all-time Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Entering the game the Chiefs were three-point favourites over the Buccaneers.
Throughout the game, the Tampa Bay defense completely shut down Mahomes and the offense. This game marked the first time in his career that a Mahomes offense failed to score a touchdown.
The Buccaneers went into halftime leading 21-6 and ultimately won the game 31-9. This game was the largest margin that Mahomes has ever lost by since he became a starter.
